Welcome,
My name is Caitlin, but I also respond attentively to Cait. This is my fourth year at UVic studying psychology with a minor in education. I would like to acknowledge that I am a colonizer/settler, and extend my respect and gratitude towards the Lekwungen Peoples territory in which I have been living on for the last four years.
I originally was born in Victoria B.C., but as the mountains called, my family then moved to Whistler B.C. where I spend my childhood surrounded by trees and adventurous activities. This being the reason why I find comfort in nature and feel most peaceful when outdoors.
When I’m not spending my time studying, you would find me with either a paint brush or watering can in my hand. I love to paint, and I take care of all my plants. Gardening being my favourite pass time. Exercising my creative side, I spend this past summer learning how to decorate cakes. I work in a bakery here in Victoria where I decorate all treats, ranging from dessert cakes to cheesecakes.
